TFC Volleyball Signs Glore

TFC volleyball has signed Kayle Glore, a senior setter from Colonial Hills Christian located in Lithia Springs, GA.  Glore has been named All Region the last three years and named All State her senior year.  As a setter, she led her team to the Elite 8 in GICAA 2AA West division. She is a member of the Beta Club and is the Vice President for SGA at her high school.

Kayle said, “Playing volleyball in college is something that I have always wanted to do. I am so excited to play volleyball for Toccoa Falls and for Coach Selina Slate. This is where I believe that the Lord wants me, and I cannot wait to see what He has in store for me at TFC.”  Glore’s current and future coaches said the following of Kayle:

Coach Thompson, Head Volleyball Coach from Colonial Hills Christian School :

I can’t begin to tell you how very happy I am that Kayle will be playing for Toccoa Falls.  She is the first player in CHCS history to play volleyball at the collegiate level.  Kayle has emerged as a true leader for her high school team, club team and her senior class. She has been an example for all of our players, setting the standard for what it means to be an outstanding student athlete.  Kayle loves the Lord and doesn’t have a problem letting her light shine. She is by far one of the most coachable players I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my short 19 year coaching career. She will be a true asset to TFC on and off the court. I’m looking forward to seeing the player she will become under Coach Slate’s guidance and training.

Coach Slate:  After talking with Kayle and watching her play, I could tell that she is everything her high school coach describes.  She loves the Lord, she is a hard worker on the court and in the classroom, and is very coachable.  Those attributes are exactly what I look for in a player for our my program.  I look forward to working with Kayle throughout her college career and am excited  to see what she will bring to our team in 2016.
