The Toccoa Falls College baseball team will travel to nearby Franklin Springs, Georgia, on May 11-13 to participate in the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) south region tournament, hosted by Emmanuel College.  TFC (19-21) will enter the tournament as the second seed and will open tournament play on May 11 at 1:30 against third-seeded Selma University (26-10).

Also on Wednesday, #4 Emmanuel (8-42) will square off with #5 Trinity Baptist College (11-28) at 11AM.  The winner of that game will advance in the winner’s bracket to play top seed Warner University (27-27) at 4PM.  With the double elimination format, the loser of the TFC/Selma game will play Wednesday at 7PM, and the winner will face the winner of the 4PM game on Thursday at noon.

On the year, TFC’s offense is led by juniors Nathan Stanley and Zach Zillweger. Stanley has 45 hits for a .326 average with 20 stolen bases and 22 runs scored.  Zillweger is hitting .319 with 35 runs batted in, seven doubles and ten home runs from his spot in the heart of TFC’s lineup.
